Service Outage Summary (1/23/2020)

At around 1:20pm, as the result of an inefficient recent update, the system saw increased load times, which in turn brought down our servers faster than new ones could be brought up. While the original issue was resolved within 30 minutes, there continued to be slow load times for the following 45 minutes. This secondary slowness was caused by the backlog of unsynced data being synced to the system by those using the app (which sitters were able to continue to use for their visits even while the system was inaccessible).
